After reading a tip on www.psoriasis.org, I researched the probiotic L. reuteri and found one brand of yogurt containing it: Stonyfield Farms. Their Web site (www.stonyfield.com) lists stores that carry it. They also provide information about L. reuteri under “Wellness” “Six live active cultures.” I’ve been eating the French Vanilla yogurt, which is delicious, and I have seen amazing improvements in my psoriasis! I still use Dovonex but it alone was just holding the plaques at bay. Now they are beginning to clear up entirely. I really think there’s something to this probiotic it specifically attacks the staph bacteria, which some researchers think is the cause of our psoriasis to begin with. If you don’t like yogurt, go ahead and try supplements.
