I have found two products that have been very beneficial for me in controlling my psoriasis – Jojoba oil and Psoriasis-Ltd.
26 years ago I developed an allergic reaction to ink from newpapers, printed material, etc. My hands crack, peel, bleed and the nails become deformed. My fingers would get so bad, it was difficult to bend them. Over the years I have tried a variety of treatments and nothing has controlled it. A year ago someone gave me a small bottle of jojoba oil and a mineral disk called Psoriasis-ltd. I didn’t think it would do any good but I did try it and it has really helped. When my fingers crack and hurt I can smooth on the jojoba oil and it eases the pain and stiffness. In the winter I do this three or four times a day to keep the pain and dryness at bay. I use the Psoriasis Ltd. to control the dry flakey patches on the palms of my hand. I still have one nail that’s deformed but at the base it appears to be growing more normally.
