I find that taking flax seeds at least three times a day not only helps the severity, but helps a lot with the flakes!
I have been taking 4000 units (recommended 5,000) of Vitamin D for about 8 months now for my severe psoriasis and it is virtually gone (I have only a few spots and just use dovabet cream on them). I previously had a combination of plaque and regular psoriasis over 2/3 of my body. I don’t know if this will work for everyone but I am so glad I made the choice to take the vitamin rather than the stronger meds. The bottom line is, try it for 6 months and see if it makes a difference!
