Psoriatic Arthritis > Knox gelatin for arthritis

Knox gelatin for arthritis

February 18, 2013 — 10:26pm

In my early 60s, I developed psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The skin problems were controllable topically. The arthritis was the real problem. I took 1600 mg of ibuprofen daily to stay mobile. This continued for several years. Then I heard a presentation by a former veterinarian who became an M.D. He proposed that many of the simple treatments applied to animals are as effective for humans. Among these, he said that arthritis could be treated by taking two envelopes of Knox gelatin (dissolved in hot water) daily. My initial reaction was, “Sure!” But, having been to numerous M.D.s and still taking so many pain killers, I decided, “Why not?” I started taking the gelatin, but continued the pain killers for about three weeks. When I stopped the medication, my arthritis was gone and has been for a year. I have full mobility, no pain, and feel great. I’m certain the gelatin diet did the job. It may not work for everyone, but several of my friends have gotten the same results and are as amazed (and mobile) as me.
