Acupuncture

March 22, 2013 — 9:45pm

After having strep throat at 18, I immediately became 95% covered in spots and was diagnosed with psoriasis. After months of topical and light treatments, I had decided I would be spot girl forever.

Then, when I returned home for winter break, a friend of the family told me of a brochure he saw in his acupuncturist’s office claiming it could treat psoriasis.

Although I was skeptical, I figured anything was worth a try. 11 years later, I only have one or two spots that reappear, usually in the winter.

Well worth the three weeks in acupuncture sessions.
