Apple cider vinegar for scalp & body

March 15, 2013 — 9:50pm

I have had psoriasis on my scalp and torso for about a year. Recently, I have started using apple cider vinegar for my scalp and the scales just rinse off very easily. After I shampoo with T/Sal, I apply Olux and it seems to work more effectively than it would otherwise. Also, the redness and itching has gone down radically. Once a week, I add this vinegar to my bath (along with dead sea salts) as well. After soaking for about 15 minutes, I can literally see the scales coming off. Its a good feeling. After I shower I apply Johnson’s baby oil to retain the moisture and prevent the itch. Try it, it works. You will amazed to see the results. You can buy the apple cider vinegar at any local grocery store.

Editor’s note: Olux is only available by prescription from a doctor.

  • Thats awesome information, so happy to try this! Ive been using regular vinegar and it works just as well, as long as, you can stand the smell!

  • How do you apply the acv to your scalp?

  • I am going to try the apple cider vinegar and to apply I would think that you just pour in on. I will try to soak with a plastic cap. Will share results. Thanks for the advice
