For the last 14 months or so, I have been using ground turkey (85/15 lean to fat ratio) instead of beef. I use it just like beef; burgers, spaghetti sauce, soups, chili, etc… I may have a hamburger or steak once or twice a month.
Before, I was breaking out year-round, some days a lot worse than others, to the point of being miserable. I haven’t had a flare since I started replacing the beef. I used to eat beef almost daily, and this is the only thing that I have changed in my life, so that is why I wonder if the beef was causing my flare-ups.
