Himalayan Salt Bars

March 28, 2014 — 9:55pm

My psoriasis had gotten so bad and spread to the point that I had been considering going on a biologic last fall. I was about 60% covered. Then I started going to Himalayan salt therapy where I sat in a salt room for an hour each week. This is not cheap, and I only did it for a couple of months. However, since January 1st I have been rubbing a Himalayan salt bar gently over all affected areas — after showering and allowing myself to air dry — about once a week. I am now more or less psoriasis free.  Himalayan salt bars cost $10 and last for about 10 applications, so that’s $1 a week to rid myself of psoriasis!

  • Be sure to complete your shower first (turn the water off). Then, while still wet, gently rub the Himalayan salt bar over all affected areas and allow yourself to air dry.

  • Nice post.
My wife suffering from psoriasis and spread to the 30% body including head, back hands. How can we apply the Himalayan salt bar as a treatment.

  • Hi there I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada

Where would I get this salt bar

  • where do you buy himalayan salt bar

  • Hey! I was wondering which salt bar you used. I’ve googled it and came up with quite a few. Was yours mixed with other ingredients like Shea butters, or in a soap form?

    Thanks for the info!!!
